The hand-held radar current meter works based on the Doppler effect principle. The radar probe of the instrument emits 24GHz microwave signals, which will be reflected when they hit the flowing water surface. Since the water surface is in a flowing state, the frequency of the reflected signals will shift, which is the Doppler effect. After the receiver detects these shifted signals, the internal algorithm of the instrument can calculate the water flow velocity through accurate analysis of the signal frequency changes. The system will correct the measurement results by combining the built-in angle sensor data, and finally, the displayed information such as flow velocity, cross-sectional area, and flow rate on the screen is accurate and reliable.
24GHz radio waves have strong penetration. Even if the water body is turbid, contains sediment, or there are floating objects on the water surface, they can easily penetrate to obtain accurate data. This avoids the problems of traditional contact measurement methods, which are easily interfered by water impurities, and the equipment is prone to corrosion and pollution. In flood prevention and fighting work, staff often need to quickly obtain river flow velocity data in harsh environments to provide a basis for dam safety assessment. The 24GHz radio wave current meter can respond quickly and provide reliable flow velocity information in a short time, helping relevant departments make timely decisions and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
Accurate measurement of the flow velocity at sewage discharge outlets is helpful for pollution source tracing and control, and this current meter can accurately complete this task. Real-time monitoring of the flow velocity distribution in waterways is of great significance to ensuring the safety of ship navigation, and the 24GHz radio wave current meter can provide relevant data in real-time to escort the safe navigation of ships.
The hand-held radar current meter is easy to operate. It can be used for measurement by hand, is lightweight, and is convenient for staff to carry to different measurement locations. A tripod can also be optional to meet the measurement needs of different scenarios. It has a built-in rechargeable battery with strong battery life, enabling long-term field operations.

The problem of water pollution is serious. Governments, environmental protection agencies, and scientific research institutions need to promptly and accurately grasp the water quality status to formulate effective water resource protection and pollution control policies. However, the detection scope...
Meteorological and Environmental Monitoring Equipment is a highly integrated, low-power automated weather observation system capable of real-time monitoring of wind speed and direction, temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, optical rainfall, PM2.5, PM10, and various gaseous pollutant...
Road Weather Sensors employs the forward-scattering method to measure the air extinction coefficient and calculate visibility. It is capable of identifying five distinct phenomena—fog, rain, snow, mixed precipitation, and clear conditions—with an identification accuracy rate of ≥95%. With a...
Road Weather Sensors is a professional optical instrument that estimates meteorological optical range by measuring the scattering intensity of light particles in the atmosphere. This device monitors the concentration of particles such as smoke, dust, haze, and fog, converting the atmospheric extinction coefficient into visibility data. It is widely used in meteorological monitoring, traffic management, and maritime applications....
